As the title says, I've been having a streak of good days recently that just seem to be getting better and better. I recognize this feeling as it is how I felt last month a week or two before the mania set in. I'm worried. I don't know my warning signs very well but this worries me.
It might be worth mentioning that I stupidly missed a few lithium doses this week. Do you think this could be related to that?

I have the same worry. Ive had multiple good days. So I just take them as good days. Ask people around you if anything seems different. Maybe its not mania but just the meds working?

When I'm hypo my first indication is feeling euphoric. So I know right away that it isn't just a good day, it's mania.

It could be the meds working, but my baseline is usually mildly depressed and exhausted throughout the day. That's what has me worried.

Hi,
Take your prescribed Lithium diligently for the up coming week. Write in a diary or somewhere what your mood is. You don’t need to go in depth - a sentence as simple as: good day today or flat today. Also note down whether you took your meds or not. This should help you start to see patterns. |
