You know, THOSE urges. I'm really having difficulty with controlling them today. I'm trying not to think about it but it's not effective.
How do others control obsessive thoughts about whatever and especially this? I've done the REBT and tried to reason with myself but am failing.
I'm almost grateful the truck wouldn't start this morning, because I might be tempted if GS was at the gym. I've not been to the gym since Thursday and I NEED the gym for every part of me. Battery is on charger, so I'll see when I can go.
Some of this is me trying to overcome that it's my ex's birthday. I'm not going to tell her anything today, because I think that would be giving her power somehow.

I"m also interested in any advise on dealing with obsessive and intrusive thoughts. If it gets too much I can take another small dose of olanzapine. Enough to knock my thoughts out. It is also like being a zombie and that drug is a poison to my metabolism but at the end of the day zyprexa is my go to drug.

The way she takes care of herself, there may not be many more. Diabetic. Eats junk food especially sugars, to the point of losing over half her teeth. Hearing is fading but won't admit it. Smokes about pack and a half a day of menthols. Doesn't exercise. Thinks she's always right. Mentally, financially, and emotionally abuses everyone so they are all afraid to try talking with her about any of this.
I'm grateful I won't be by her side while she continually and consciously does this to herself. I feel very concerned about my kids having to see it in the same house.

No prn for me. My pdoc said "no" because of my past attempts. I'd love to have something to blast away all thought for a day. I think however that I'd easily become a slave to it.

Can you watch a movie to distract yourself or take a hot shower to ground yourself?

Didn't go to that gym. No yoga here today but GS won't be here either. That temptation is nullified for today. Urges are still high though. I really should be able to control this better.
There words for my depression: Cadbury creme eggs

Bought two. The other one might be consumed rather soon. I shouldn't, but I am at negative 400 calories for the day already and still working out. Yes, I logged it all correctly. Fitbit app ftw

Hit machines for 45. Played chair volleyball work a bunch of much older people for a long time. Back to machines now.
Nothing like a room full of 70+ yo people to take urge away

The ex messaged me earlier. I'm sure she was fishing for an hbd. Didn't happen. Strength!
