Ugh. Fuuking allergic reaction. Was having issues breathing, couldn't swallow, lips swollen and numb, rash on face, eyes, feet, hands, ears burning. Never had one so bad. Took 50 mg of benedryl at 5 did nothing, took another 25 at 6, kept deteriorating, so I went to the hospital. They gave me decadron after finally getting an IV in me on the 4th try. They blew 2 veins and it still hurts. I warn people I have crappy veins. They're deep and they roll. I feel like I've been beaten up.
 The only thing I ate today was yogurt, so I guess I can't eat yogurt anymore.

I am sorry. I hope you will much better and very soon. I wonder what caused the allergic reaction? I hope it wasn’t too scary for you.
I hope you manage to get some rest.

I am glad you were able to get to the hospital for help! Will the decadron disturb your sleep tonight? I hope you can get some quality sleep. WC

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. Yogurt can cause this? It's a good thing I think it tastes terrible...

Sorry you had to go through that. My husband has an anaphylactic allergy to a food preservative. Its in everything. Allergies suck!

Prednisone works great for some people. I go all hulk rage on everything and growl at people even. I'll not take it or any steroid again.

The alpha gal test came back negative, so I guess I gotta figure out what to do from here. I guess I'll see my GP again.
