I'm kinda stressing about money. Between what's in the bank and what my husband gets paid tomorrow, after bills, I'll have about $350 till the 15th to live off of. Food, meds, and drs appts are expensive. Gotta figure out how to make cheaper meals that are within my dietary restrictions. I guess tomorrow night I can't make some rice and chicken and that will feed me for a couple nights. Ugh. Stupid ****. It's not like I've been spending money on frivolous things either. I guess I could stop going to the coffee shop but I enjoy going there and reading and getting a tea and muffin. They actually have gluten free muffins and it makes me happy.

Oh well I'll figure something out.

I hear you on money stress. I owe over 3500, after the recent bills rolled in from August. I get $800/mo. After I pay bills, I barely have enough gas to get to the gym, which I'd go way bonkers without. I live on coffee and granola bars most of the time, but they always taste consistently good. I also have a broken tooth and no way in the world to fix it. It's beginning to get tender in there too. I'll have to pull it myself. Yuck. But I'll do it anyway.
I did buy a coffee today instead of make my own. That baristas is a queen! A double filled a regular small coffee cup. $2 once in a while

Protip: don't go shopping for groceries per se, only buy what you need the following day, yep we bipolar folk love to spend. Print out your bank transactions, oh I hope you're not using cash. Anyway, investigation time with a plan of attack.

I don't buy a lot of groceries at a time, especially since my husband isn't here, but the fact that things need to be gluten and dairy free, things are expensive. I know I could make salads for cheap, but I'm sick of salad. I'll figure something out.

Of course you will. But in my case, I like to dig a little deeper with physical copies of all transactions. Some one once told me that if I just save a dollar a day, well you see where this is headed. Another underrated phrase of the 21st century is "you're doing it wrong". This tells us that what we have been so stubbornly doing in the past, has got us nowhere. Don't get me wrong because I'm all for sticking to what I know, but this is a dangerous way to think.

I would really like to hear from you and changes you have made to the culture'.

Nevermind. Checked my bank account and my husband got paid from the campaign too. I have enough money now. He thought they were going to withhold the first weeks pay, but I guess not. The stupid BCBS site isn't working so I can't pay my health insurance so gotta remember to try again in the morning or tomorrow. I need to go get some cash out of the bank tomorrow too cause we need to get a load of wood, and I need to pay my helper on Friday.

I feel less stressed now.

I only pay for food and coffee with cash , it’s harder for me to physical handle over cash than swipe my card. Mental thing. I use my phone while shopping to physically have in my hand as I put things in my cart.

It's not a mental thing. That's why they give you chips in the casinos.
