I understand, medication interferes with my daily life and sometimes I just don't want to take it. But I'm so dependant on it I'd rather take it than be crazy.

Meds suck. Going off the rails sucks more. Lesser of the evils for sure, but yes they suck. Hugs.

Being on meds has it's downsides defintely .. being off of it also has it's downsides too. It's a constant battle, well at least that's how I look at it. But I know I would be worse off w/o the meds so I just take them. Even though they might be making me numb to all emotions. Better off feeling nothing then cycling all the darn time I guess.

I couldn't agree more, meds suck but after a while my life starts to suck more if I
don't take them. Yesterday I forgot to take my effexor in the morning and I still feel
awful even though I have already taken today's dose. Can't win either way.

What non medication ways are you using to help your Bipolar?

I ask because sometimes the simple things make a difference, I’m guilty of skipping stuff too.

Exercise?
Meditation?
Healthy diet?
Good sleep hygiene?
Is your Vitamin D level low?
Recent lab work to check for thyroid and hormone levels?
Hobbies ?
Just a few things to consider.
