was diagnosed with bp2 4 months ago, I'm on meds now but the past couple weeks have been getting weird.. I think I'm seeing things it sounds weird to say but, im hardly sleeping now. I've woken up in the middle of the night seeing moving shadows covering an entire wall in my bedroom, this happened a couple times. One night freaked me out really bad when i woke up 2 ft from my bed was a shadowy dark figure staring at me, I can still feel it's eyes on me. I've been paranoid 24/7 I'm always looking over my shoulder, I never turn the lights off in my house anymore, I check closets when I enter a room in my house, I can mostly deal with how I feel during the day but I'm scared to go to bed bc I don't know what I'll wake up to. I don't understand what's going on and I need help on what to do.

Sounds like you need a med adjustment. I would call your pdoc.

Years ago I had something very similar......I experienced this about 18 years ago and then again about 7 years ago. For me, I believe it was med related. I did not stop taking the med but adjusted and it went away. Is it possible you are having night terrors and are still asleep partially when this happens? That was the case for me. I’m so sorry you are experiencing this confusion, it can really murder a person. (((Hugs)))

I agree with the very knowledgeable posters here. Call your pdoc immediately. If cannot see them for a significant period of time, or this gets to be intolerable, get someone to take you to the ER. If no person is available, get a taxi or Uber to take you. This is what I think you should do. IMO do not drive yourself.

I think it's time to see your doctor.
