I am considering buying the course, the book course, which is only 30 bucks, but I think the thing I am most concerned about is getting my hopes up that this will help. Did anyone try this, and what were your results? Has anyone KNOWN someone who tried this, or does anyone have any information about it?
Obviously the website for it is going to be skewed...it is basically a commercial. But I am sick of reading about the negative effects of the medications I am taking, even though I have been stable for years. And I feel like they also limit my accomplishments. I don't know. But I'm also on adderall for ADHD. I read that some of my meds may be cancelling each other out, and some of my physical symptoms of chronic problems could be related to my meds. So basically, I want to see if there is a way to deal with this without experiencing all of the negative side effects of my medication. Thanks for reading. SearchingforMe ![]() |

not familiar with it, but...non-drug solutions aren't as well studied as the drugs, but they're usually cheaper and safer.
amphetamines are tricky, especially if you have Bipolar Disorder. they can boost mood in depression, but also cause more mood instability. having said that, i had a shrink once who told me that she felt more comfortable prescribing amphetamines than many antidepressants in Bipolar. the antidepressants (according to her...) caused more unpredictable adverse effects. anyway...there are non-drug options. i don't know anything about this course, but I think you're right to look for ways to reduce your need for psych drugs. i dont know if you're into "alternative" mental health, but I take tons of vitamins on top of my 2 drug combo. helps anxiety, I've managed to (miraculously...) "recover" from a lot of things, and I don't have problems with major adverse effects, even with a long term 'atypical' tranquilizer on board. some people do this sort of thing and then eventually taper off their psych drugs.
