Hi all,

I don't know if it's cool to link to YouTube videos here, but this one seemed appropriate because occasionally a fellow forum member will post something along the lines "What do I do to induce hypomania or mania?"

This is a really long video from Julie Fast, so I've only skimmed it, but it sounds interesting. Might get a discussion going.

I do like to think about the fallout of my last hypomanic event as a way of reminding me of how it negatively impacted my career. It cost me money in multiple ways. I’m not sure if I will have insight to recognize it’s a problem.

Sometimes I looked back and see that while I didn’t have insight, I altered what I was doing if someone pointed it out to me. In other cases, I would argue.

It shouldn’t be up to other people to look after me.

I do hope my current med regimen works and prevents any further swings.
