So I’m going to start adding free form amino acids into my supplements along with extra taurine and tyrosine. Anyone else use these? I also picked up some zinc/copper. Today is the first day of 200 mg of lamictal. I’ve been on 300mg for 11 years and I’m going off it.

Isn't taurine a stimulant.. I think that's in redbull drinks. Don't take it after 3pm
Thanks for this!

Wait wrong one? No it’s taurine. Deficiency can result in hyperactivity, anxiety and poor brain 🧠 function. My job is fast paced and high stress and I’m going off my medication. I need all the support I can get. The trick is it has to be on an empty stomach so I have to time out my meals tomorrow based on my schedule.

I took amino acids for several months to see if I could sleep better.
I took gaba, trytiphan, and another one. It did not help me sleep. I also took OTC lithium oratate and that did not help me either.
melatonin extended release helped me get more sleep.
good luck

I wasn’t going for sleep. Where did you see that I said that?

I think that our sleep is one of the most important factors in our staying stable.
Why are you taking AA's?

Free form amino acids protein, so my brain 🧠 can continue to function normally and to combat depression, stabilize mood swings, and make sure I don’t get hyperactive, or anxious.
I’m titrating down my lamictal to 200 this week, and bringing in some more nutrients to compensate.

Have you ever considered taking turmeric?
IT is supposed to help with our memories. IT acts as an anti-inflamatory.
I will try anything that will help improve my memory.
