He's always putting me down.

I'm very weak from a bad liver and I'm in chronic pain it's also hard because I'm not on any medication for bipolar, so it's very hard to not feel like this.

I am not in a good place right now, I've just downed a handful of pain meds, and how it all started by my selfish father that doesn't want to...HE CAN'T BE BOTHERED To help his only son.

He's a trigger and I want out. I don't know what to do to find a place live
..f him for making me feel like this :sad face:

You have my sympathy, but there's not a lot I can add past that. Its such a tough situation where you need to rely on someone and they are very unsupportive or even toxic...

Hi there! The views are not representative of the PC members. Any view is counted and many views are from those "lurking."

I am sorry you feel alone. I am also sorry about your health situation and your chronic pain.

This interpersonal stress between you and your dad seems to exacerbate your challenges. Have you talked with him, letting him know how some of his behaviors affect you? Is he open to talking with you?

My mom lives with us. In the beginning, I'd eventually had to share with her about some of her behaviors I had found triggering. Her feelings were hurt at first, but in time, we've worked things out. I was also doing things she'd found upsetting. It's a two-way street and we've been able to adjust to one another, which is critical when people live together.

(((((( 21SAB ))))))

I hope you can work things out with your dad.
I also hope today is a better day!

You mentioned you were not on any bipolar meds. Can you see a pdoc and get on some? Maybe it will help you feel better.

having a son with autism and I myself with bipolar and anxiety, we need to speak up and advocate. It is hard, but I learned to do it and you can too. Talking to dad is good idea.

Thank-you all for being there for me, it really helps.

We have started talking again, but my guard is up this time.

I told my mother about what transpired between us and she's got my back.....sort of.

I'm going to have a new Pdoc but st a month's time. So it looks like I will be very moody and not looking after myself.. but that's another story.

Thanks I'm trapped living with my father
