I was more the type who would get in trouble for cutting class. My behavior was worse at home than in school. However, I was often able to get away with stuff in school, but not all of the time. If you were respectful to me, I'd be respectful back, but if an authority figure gave me a hard time, I had no problem giving it back to them in high school. In middle school though, I was bullied by a teacher and was kind of quiet. I did tell a guidance counselor what was happening though. I think some of these experiences helped give me the ability to stand up for myself later on and sometimes I was defiant.
My behavior was a lot worse at home, rather than in school. I was very impulsive, would mouth off a lot, and got grounded a lot. At times, I was provoked, but I had a hard time knowing how to deal with situations appropriately. Also, my erratic behavior and Bipolar mood swings caused a lot of turmoil in my home. People didn't really know how to deal with me. My grades also really slipped from age 15-16 during my first manic episode, followed by a really terrible depressive episode. I had a poor attention span in school and always had a note on my report card saying that I would "daydream a lot" and was inattentive. I was never diagnosed with ADHD though. |

I used to get into trouble for giggling/laughing. I was a real giggler and got sent out of class to ‘quieten down’ at least once a day. Thinking back I used to laugh at the dumbest things.

I’m sure I’m bipolar because of my home life. I believe genetics plus triggering events causes it. I was hyper vigilant, because any tiny thing and my mother exploded. We had nothing because she was always smashing everything.
I was a grown up in a little body. I was the teacher’s pet. I didn’t relate well to kids. I talked to grown ups. |

Quite the opposite. I was always a total teacher's pet, and I made straight A's all through school. Probably has something to do with the fact that both my parents are teachers.

I really relate to that. I was always told I was "wise beyond my years," I always preferred to talk to adults than kids my age. I had friends my age, but I always wanted to be friends with my teachers.

I hope you still laugh at the dumbest things. It's helped you through and past some stupidity in your life. Laughing during funerals is bad, but they shouldn't play "Paradise City" at one. I had to leave at that point.
