I'm having severe anxiety.

I don't have a pdoc appointment until April 18th. I asked to be put on a cancellation list to be seen earlier than the 18th. Do you think that means my appointment for April 18th was cancelled?

I can't call back until tomorrow, so my anxiety is so high and I don't think I'll sleep tonight. I made the cancellation list thing at like 11am today, but I didn't realize this possibility of my April 18th appointment being cancelled.

I need to ask tomorrow, but I'm still having anxiety. I want to be able to sleep. What do you think?

I wouldn't worry about not having any appointment. I do not think they would cancel your appointment on the 18th of April unless they've already confirmed an earlier appointment with you. If you called and they said the April 18th was cancelled because of your request, then they would be obligated to give you something before April 18th. They'd have to figure something as good as or better than April 18th for you. Of course if they can't fit you in before April 18th, they'll have to fit you in on April 18th at the latest.

Please give them 48 hours or so to get back to you. If you don't hear from them then, then call back and ask for the courtesy of a response "yes" or "no" to an appointment change.

In my experience they won’t cancel your appointment unless you get an earlier one confirmed.

Nothing to worry about. Your appointment remains the same unless they can get you in earlier.

They wouldn’t cancel an appointment until another one is confirmed. They want you now or then!

I need to travel across the interstellar dimensions to reach my pdoc. I just wasn't sure if he cancelled or not, as he is lightyears away from me. But he is in the real world and I am in the fake world. I hope I can reach him soon, but I know it will be a while. I have to figure out how to get out of this fake world and get back to the real world. I am lost.

I saw my therapist earlier today and I'm so, so, sooooo thankful she was understanding of my situation. She is advocating for me to get an earlier medication appointment... but I don't know how since I'm already on the cancellation list. Though she says that sometimes if any of the providers at the office are "bugged" enough, they may flex their schedule just for a one-time thing to accommodate someone. So I hope to find out within a few days if I get a sooner appointment or not. Hell, if I could see ANYONE, whoever the hell it is, I'll take that too.
