I slept through my pdoc appointment today. Such an idiot. I woke up to her texting me: are you okay? Yes I'm okay, I'm just a total idiot who couldn't catch the damn bus.
I feel very low. I cried again at school today. Such a loser. There's no point to this post. I'm deeply depressed and sedated from my meds so much so that I slept through my doc appointment. There is no hope for me and I should just give up.

Sorry to hear that. I've done that too... except my psychiatrist never actually called me to let me know if missed the appointment. I figured it out four days later that I missed the appointment.
I think you have a caring psychiatrist, for what it's worth. Like I said, mine didn't give a **** if I missed it or not. He just wanted to bill the insurance company. I'm sure you can work something out soon. Can you try to reschedule or get a "crisis appointment" (or whatever they're called)? |

Ask if you can wait in the office for when she has a moment. Usually they'll do their best to get you in because they know you're serious about it. I've done it before.

I'm meeting her for a half hour tomorrow morning. I just have to get up really early to take the bus. So fortunately I will get to see her.

I'm having my mom call me from halfway around the world to wake me up. No way I'm sleeping through this one. I need a med change. I'm depressed beyond belief.

Hey, please don't be so hard on yourself. Meds can make us so tired we could sleep through the ceiling caving in.

I've done similar things just gotta keep pushing on. I am glad your pdoc was able to make time for you.

I set multiple alarms on my phone with puzzles and math problems to turn them off. There are times I've got five alarms for one thing and I'm already awake. Maybe you need more than one?
