We have been ordering my side effect meds in the states. It's over a dollar a pill because we only have coverage in Canada but my parents have been helping with the cost.
I still have pain, but it's manageable. Thanks for all your support.

Wow - that's the first time I have heard of someone in Canada ordering prescription drugs from the US; usually it's the other way around. I am glad to hear the pain has become manageable.
