All I do lately is sleep. I feel so run down. I did just get over sinusitis but i finished the meds for that on Monday. I want cold drinks and yet my belly feels "glogged" so I dont want want to eat. Ideas? Depression?

Weren't you on prednisone or something? That causes a lack of sleep usually, and the lack of sleep eventually catches up to you. So do you think maybe that's it?

I think that when we (people who have bipolar) have an infection, other illness, etc, that it often causes imbalance and affects our stability during the time of and during recovery from the illness, infection, etc.

It does sound like you are having depressive symptoms. Let yourself rest, and also push thru as best you can with self-care. (eating meals, shower, a little bit of housework, going for a walk if possible, etc).

Let us know how you are doing.

Did you have to take antibiotics? Those really mess up your digestion. Eating something with probiotics might help. Antibiotics mess with my head. I always go through a period of weeks or months before I’m OK again. I avoid them at all costs.

There is such a thing as oversleeping, where one sleeps a lot yet feels tired when awake. If it keeps going you may want to contact your pdoc.
