I know a teen who is in er right now because she's suicidal. Please send good vibes her way. She's hopefully gonna get help!

Bullies are telling her she's fat with a mustache and unibrow.

Hope she gets help and someone needs to step in and at least try to stop whoever is being a bully(s) they all seem to run in packs.

Not sure of the whole situation. In hoping she's doing ok and got the help she needed to stay safe. I hate bullying!

Not to rant in your thread, but I blame schools for bullying. A lot of teachers don't give a f_ck, so they just let it happen. They turn a blind eye to it. (Perhaps it's because teachers are generally underpaid and have a lot of sh_t on their plate.) Then you end up with people like this teen who become suicidal because the bullies are harassing them and no one cares to stop it. I've seen teachers firsthand say they don't care and to "deal with it yourself; you're almost an adult."
With Facebook etc., it just gives bullies another avenue to harass someone. It needs to stop. And adults, teachers especially, shouldn't tolerate it. I hope your teen friend gets the help she needs and deserves. And I hope her parents complain to the school. Or... https://www.stopbullying.gov/get-help-now/index.html |
