Hi! I have not posted on here in quite some time.
I used to be a Kindergarten teacher and left my career back in 2014 due to depression and anxiety. After I left teaching I tried searching for other jobs, I tried 2 nonprofits and couldn't handle the anxiety so for most of these time I've worked as a on-call nanny for an agency. I haven't experienced anxiety with this job and think in part has to do with the flexibility and the fact i provide care for different families every day. I'm hardly making ends meet and my antidepressant has helped with my anxiety a lot. So I'm thinking of going back to teaching. But I find myself doubting myself. I've asked myself constantly will I fail again? Can I do this? I have an interview Tuesday and I'm anxious and tense because I haven't interviewed for a teacher position since 2008! I've been meditating and I'm a runner so those are the kinds of things I do to battle my anxiety. Right now I'm not anxious but feel tense but at the back of mind are those worrying thoughts. Are there any teachers here that can relate? How do you cope with such a demanding and stressful job?

Good luck whatever you decide. Teachers are vastly underappreciated, but essential for our future.

One of my step daughters is a teacher. Gives attitude, not love.
I dislike teachers anyway. And everything related to discipline.
