I didn't like it. It made me drowsy and didn't help with psychosis or mania. And it ultimately stopped working for my depression. Some people really like it, though. At least it's better than Seroquel for me.

Gave me extreme anxiety and also made me drowsy which caused me to lose my summer job bc I was falling asleep in class. But like bluebicycle said, many people have found it to be a lifesaver.

Latuda helped to bring me out of a 5 year depression accompanied by severe anxiety. 3 weeks into the Latuda I felt relief. I was on it for a year, then developed a hand and mouth tremor that was pretty bad, so my pdoc took me off the Latuda.

Makes me drowsy for 2 days when the dose is increased. Then I go back to baseline. I sleep great on it and it helped my depression better than lamictal.

Upset my stomach. Like I got sick upset stomach. It was giving it to me by my old doctor because it was supposed to help with my mania (I've never heard that it does, but he's the doc right?) but it did nothing, zero, zilch, nada for my mania.

I hated it. It didn't help with my psychosis, mania, or depression and it gave me akathisia

I like it. It's been very helpful for my depression. I take it at night, and it seems to help me somewhat with sleep.

I've been on it for almost two years. It has really helped me stay stable.

I do have akathisia on it as well as tardive dyskinesia but I'm on the lowest dose and take Artane and Vitamin E to reduce those effects. I take it in the morning because it doesn't make me drowsy. I've been on Lamictal with Zyoprexa and Depakote with Geodon, and this has been the best experience yet.

People's experiences vary though.

For the years I've been taking it, it has entirely prevented mania though I don't know about depression since I take other things for that. The only side effect I had was akathisia and propranolol takes care of that completely. It doesn't make me sleepy. You have to take 350 calories with it which can be inconvenient (Doctors don't always know this; I can't imagine why--it's prominent on the instruction sheet.)

I will keep taking it as long as my insurance keeps paying for it. I had to fight with them last time.
Thanks for this!

Sadly, it made me go into a terrible episode of mania. Though, that does not mean that it doesn't work for other people. I had to go through a huge amount different medications to get to where I am in life now. I also don't think the Doctor I was seeing at the time was the appropriate one for me. Funnily enough I started to go see some one named Dr. Humble.

It made me crazy..like 3D in your face kind of dreams....sweating....2-3 hours of sleep....too much energy....

3 days and I was done. I made better drugs in my lab compared to that. Never again.
