- I am grateful for perfume and, more generally, pleasant scents. The Lyft car I rode today was filled with some heavenly Indian scents, which was especially interesting given that the driver was from Mexico.

- I am grateful for water. Rain, showers, dishwashing, tea, coffee, soups.

- I am grateful for my wit which comes back when I clear deep depressions.

I'm grateful for clean floors, clean clothes and clean dishes.

I'm also grateful for Goodwill, as we gave them a lot of stuff today.
Thanks for this!

I’m grateful for my therapist and that she’s letting me come back despite how I acted last time I was in her office.

I'm grateful for the red-shouldered hawk which (at an altitude of only about 20 feet) briefly escorted me as I drove to work this morning. I felt my spirit lifted upon its wings.

What a story!

I am grateful for my life. I was riding Lyft today and learned of Kate Spade's suicide. We were exactly on that portion of highway on which I drove in 2009 to commit suicide, and almost succeeded - ended up on a ventilator at Stanford hospital for several days. I am sad for her and grateful that I got a second chance.

I got another change in 2015 and yet another in 2017. So I have my three lines today - grateful for all the extra chances.

I did teach my class and the person who hired me seemed happy. We now will wait for the student evaluations - she has not sent a link to the survey form.

I am grateful for sleep. Again and again, grateful for sleep!
I am grateful for this board.
I am grateful for my doctor, even though he sometimes makes serious mistakes.

I am anxious today... have been for a few hours and cannot shake it. So I thought it would be a good challenge to write in this journal while being anxious:

- I am grateful for my eyesight.

- I am grateful for sweet cherries.

- I am grateful for Mexican rice pudding.

Things I feel good about this weekend:
1. Went to Church this morning with my 2 sons
2. Went running for 3 miles 2 days in a row
3. Got my 2 kids hair cuts
4. Cooked a "gourmet" meal for my family last night - chimichurri steak, Elote corn
5. Went to a Church meeting and a meeting with fellow Spanish-speaking enthusiasts on Saturday morning
6. Made a connection with someone who shares interests in religion, career, and exercise
7. Posted information on social media (Twitter, Facebook) regarding stigma and awareness about mental health, due to the suicides of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade
8. Feeling somewhat more positive about career prospects (but still frustrated because it's stalled)

I'm grateful my daughter's boyfriend got his own wok to make a late lunch for themselves and their friend. Our wok is safe for now, LOL.

I'm grateful my daughter has another job interview. Hope this gets her a job.

I'm grateful that the afternoon gabapentin kicked in and I'm not as restless as I was earlier. I'm also grateful that I'm in a decent mood.
Thanks for this!

I think the odds have made you a stronger woman, and that, in turn, has contributed to your leading an extraordinary life.

- I am grateful for my bipolar today.
- I am grateful for my having accepted the illness as an unalterable reality; I keep reading about people who are grieving their healthy selves and I am glad that that stage is now part of my past.
- I am grateful for my verbal abilities.

Aw...! I'd feel blessed if I could do that. But I have my little plants on a windowsill, which is something - am going to spray them with water.

Grateful for the attended laundramat I now go to (am here now). It's a little further away, but well worth the bus rides. (Yup, I haul it in my little "granny cart". Can we please come up with a new name for them though? Let's call 'em metro carts, maybe? -- since they're more of a city thing. Sounds more exciting, and you know how exciting they are! Lol.)

Grateful the weather is just right.

Oh! And that the laundramat has wi-fi.

I pictured your paying with a credit card and turning them off remotely over a wireless connection. And then the laundry would fold itself wirelessly and load into the metro cart.

I am grateful for the rainbow 🌈 I saw this morning, reminding me that God is still with me and my family.

I am grateful for the free school day camp my daughter had this week, allowing my husband and me to get closer, have plenty of private time together, and talk out our worries and let me come clean with him about things I have tried to hide, like overspending.

I am grateful I had a good day today and spent quality time with my daughter without either one of us getting frustrated with the other since often our personalities clash.

Thank you and welcome - I see this was one of your first posts. What a beautiful expression of appreciation of the mother...
