I’ve been inpatient a lot but never outpatient. I was wondering what people go there for

It’s like if you need more intensive treatment than what weekly therapy can provide but less than inpatient. Usually I do PHP or IOP after a hospitalization but there have been one or two times that it actually kept me out of the hospital. It is useful. You learn coping skills and stuff like that. Sometimes they have a process group where you can just talk about what’s bothering you.

I agree with wildflowerchild.

My hospital runs groups with specific focuses based on your diagnosis.
