Do you believe in ghosts?. I certainly didn't. And maybe I still don't.

Since we moved permanently to this house that we have owned for a few years, and had it rented until three or four years ago, things move by themselves.
Specially the items that you're looking for, and are sure that you put it in a certain place. I'm I making sence?. I hope so.

Don't get me wrong, I've never seem the actual movement of the items. Just the absence, when you're certain they were "there".

It's just me and my wife now.
The house was built in '98 and we bought it in 2000. Thinking, as we have done, it to be the one we will leave feet in front.

So it's not an old house that makes noises or anything.
Nobody has died here, we bought it from a happy couple, and to our knowledge, the tennants thru the years, have been happy here.

When there's only two people, if I didn't move it, she did, right?.
She has kept denying reponsibility, but I know better.

Even if she doesn't lie lie, she overriches often. Very often. As in never admitting to anything. She was trained not-to-lose no matter what.

I'll cut the crap and go straight to say that tonight, a small bucket containing two brushes and turpentine in it, were thrown at me from under the cover of my motorcycle.

That cover has been there for less than three weeks. I never had one before.
The brushes have been lost for months.
I looked for them a week ago. I needed to paint some garage furniture, and ended up in Home Depot buying new brushes.

The bucket was thrown at my feet. I didn't stumble with it.
Like saying "here idiot, where you looking for these?".

That is not enough to convince me that ghosts exist. But it sure makes me wonder. And the hair in my neck stood a little. Dunno what to think now.

Again, do you believe in ghosts?.

I saw my best friend that died when he was about 10 year's old at my brothers funeral. He was still the same but was glowing white while walking behind his mother.

I didn't tell anyone about this because everytime I tried to I would break down, so I just moved on and I could of had a hallucination due to the situation of losing my brother to /trigger/suicide/trigger/....

Anyway I know what you are describing because my mother was cutting vegetables in the kitchen on the counter. And bet favorite knife disappeared into thin air. She got very angry at my father and I for at least a week, always implying that were playing a practical joke on her.

Weeks went past and out of hell's gates, the. Knife returned to the exact spot, dirty with the vegetable mixture on it.

Till this day, nobody wants to even speak about it. I mentioned it numerous occasions and the topic was just off limits. This frustrated me so much.

There are other things that have happened, like paintings falling off the walls at night, simultaneously by the distinctive sounds.

There was even time where my wife at the time was staying at my parents house so we could save, anyway she claims to have bumped into a figure in the corridor on her way to the bathroom..idk...

Do I believe in GHOSTS?

I used to. To the point where goose bumps would engulf my upper torso. So I started taking a torch.

I was really drunk one night and I screamed in the middle of the night "GET OUT, YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE".

Nothing since then.

I think it's not a logical thing to say, because no matter how hard you try to persuade someone to believe you, they just won't.

I forgot who's quote, but it's something along the lines of, people dislike what they don't understand.

But know this. I believe you.

I'm not sure but here's my story:

My girlfriend and I went for a weekend to a jazz festival. We were staying at an old house her daughter was staying in while in college at the time. I don't sleep with my rings on. I'm very particular about where I put them if I'm not at home so I will remember where they are. We were getting ready to leave for the festival and went to get the rings. They weren't there. I panicked and asked my friend to help me. We searched, I kid you not, 1-1/2 hours. We overturned everything. Eventually, I walked back into the bedroom stood looking at the bed and replayed the night before. I turned around back to where I had put them ( a black case where the gold would stand out). I yelled for me friend. She ran in and I was just standing there pointing. I told her I had moved that trunk three times and never saw them nor did they fall. She said she had actually rubbed her hand over the trunk and down the sides. We were both freaked out.

I have a couple stories.

One not really a ghost story. My grandmother (the one I was most like, resembled in appearance in her younger photos, shared my love of reading) was very ill with Parkinson's disease. She had her mind, but was basically trapped in her body. One night while I was pregnant (roughly 2 weeks away from my due date), I had a dream about my grandmother. We were both getting our hair styled at a salon, talking & happy. It was a very vivid dream. I woke up and saw it was around 4:15 AM (I woke a lot being that pregnant, hard to get comfortable and needing the bathroom constantly). The next morning, my mother called and told me my grandmother had passed away around 4:15 AM that morning.

A few weeks later, I was nursing my daughter in bed. We were co-sleeping, a practice a lot of people frown upon, but really, it's how people did it before modern times if they were poor and didn't have a wet nurse. It was also the only way I could get enough sleep to function without constantly yelling at my baby. One morning, I woke, around dawn, nursing my daughter in bed. A weird sense of peace came over me, and I had the strongest feeling I was being watched, but I wasn't scared. I felt a light presence (never saw anything because I am extremely nearsighted and didn't reach to put my glasses on). I got the feeling my recently deceased grandmother was standing at the foot of the bed, watching me nurse my new baby, but I was not scared or creeped out. A few minutes later, the feeling went away, like she had gone. When I told the story to my mother, she said if it had been in her power, she didn't doubt my grandmother would have come to see my new baby if at all possible. I never believed in ghosts before that. It was a strange experience.

I've had one notable experience. When I was younger my grandfather lived with us and passed away in our house. A few days later, I came home from work in the middle of the night and heard him say "Hi, [my name]" as if he was sitting next to me. Freaked me out. Within a couple days of that, apparently my stepmom also had an experience involving him. We didn't know about each other's experience until many months later.

Well, there is only one case that I can remember happening recently. I just came in from the outside and closed the front sdoor. Soon after that, I heard a door slam shut down the hallway. So I walked over to find all the doors wide open. I talked to my neighbor about this. She has a key to my place. She told me the same thing has happened to her in my house. Neither one of us can figure this out.

Oh yes, there was one other time many years ago as a child. I was young and living with my parents. I sometimes I found myself thirsty in bed. I was lazy. I did not bother waking myself up much, but just enough to walk myself on “autopilot” out to the kitchen sink for a drink of water. Sometimes I even would wake up in bed wondering if I had just come from the kitchen.

My grandfather died which disturbed me. One of those times in the kitchen I turned around to go back to bed. This is when I found an image of my grandfather in the kitchen, just standing there. I could not believe what I was seeing. So I remained frozen, unable to move. Then the apparition disappeared. I think being almost completely asleep on “autopilot”, I was in a highly suggestive state of mind. So I guess this would be called a halucination.

I was not going to say anything about this one. I was taking care of my mother 24/7 and had cameras in most rooms that I can access on my iPad. One time at night, I was checking on my mother to see if she was asleep. It was a difficult day for me with her. I wanted her asleep in order for me to start relaxing.

Anyway, I started seeing what looked to be globes of light floating through her bedroom. I did not know what to make of this. There were several them. I even tried to count them. I looked at another camera down the hallway from her. At first I saw nothing. Then I started seeing one of “them” float by, apparently coming from my mothers room. This is when I started getting nervous. I then shut my iPad off not knowing what else to do. I have never seen anything like this since. Since the images were first sent to a computer on the Internet, maybe there was some glitch in the processing of the video that caused this to happen? I will never forget this. BTW the video is normally recorded, but I had recently dropped that part of the service to save money. Oh well.

Then there was that time I unknowingly hypnotized myself. I think I will skip the telling of that experience. It was wild.

it is not a ghost story but a kind of just knowing event ... my mother would dream of a face in swirling muddy water ... multiple times she woke up to the phone ringing to tell her they had died ... we just all accepted it ... as a child I never doubted such things ... still don't ... all kinds of stuff in this world ...
