I have insomnia and want to sleep more. Would increasing Latuda fro 40 to 60mg be more sedating or more activating? What was it for you?

It sedated me a lot
Guess it depends on the person, but I couldn't handle it for that reason But if you have insomnia, there are more heavy hitters that might want to ask your psychiatrist about, such as Seroquel. Or you can ask your pharmacist about something like melatonin or Benadryl. |

Latuda which I'm now on isn't very sedating to me. Seroquel however was too sedating. For me, I have to take Trazadone to fall asleep.

I went from 80 to 120 a week ago and didn't notice a difference. I take it at night an hour before bed because it is sedating for several hours.
But I didn't notice a difference at all during the next morning or following day. I used to have insomnia on it so I took a low dose of Seroquel for about 6 months. It seemed to resolve on its own because I'm off Seroquel now.
