|
I was in the hospital for 9 days, I missed my family so much. I am home for the weekend on a LOAP. Hopefully I can stay home and not have to go back next week, fingers crossed.

Good news , hopefully you can stay home but if not there is no shame in needing more help.
Better to stay IP than leave too soon and crash and burn. Enjoy your bed.

Glad you are home.
As a newbie some of these acronyms are unfamiliar. What is LOAP? Also have trouble figuring out what TW is. |

LOAP stands for leave of absents pending. It means that if I have a good weekend I can stay home, but if my weekend does not go well, I have to go back to the hospital for another week.

Right now I am taking lamictal, geodon ,olanzapine, nozinan, seroquel, zoplicpne, reluxi, senocot, clonazepam, and procycladine. I went to the hospital on 3 meds. Left with 10.But the good news is that I'm not a zombie, I am functioning quite well, considering the amount of meds I'm on.

That is a crazy amount of meds! But the only thing that matters is how good you feel.

I remember being on 9 meds. It really helped stabilize me and get me out of depression, then I was slowly tapered to 5 meds over the course of 2 years, now I'm on 3. If you need the meds for now, its no big deal to be on 10 meds.
