I went there and left an email for my pdoc. Shes in this afternoon. I hope she calls me back.

Any luck thus far? My pdoc's office can at times be chaotic. While mine has his own dedicated administrative assistant the other clinicians in the office share the others. They seem to trip over one another, have too much to do to multi-task, and seem to get mixed up easily. The chaos, even though I really am not involved, can raise my anxiety level.

I was told when I went in that all phone lines are down. I left an email for pdoc and im hoping she will call me back from her cell whe she gets in this afternoon.

Any word yet? I'm glad my pdoc has a cell phone that is his that you can call 24/7 for emergencies.

Everyone you are making me jealous.
I left a province with a great mental health care system. I had a great P.Doc, who really helped me Now I live in a province where the only mental health care is the suicide crises centre and a Suicide telephone hot line (and having called it, I can tell you that they suck at it) I am drifting alone with a regular GP who has no idea what he is doing. I was the one telling him what various max doses are for certain meds. I don't have a T as there is a shortage of them here. I hate this province and after 9 months I still hate it here

Still no call back!! I. Paced and bounced and danced and sang all day from the moment I awoke. In fact I pace in circles in my livingroom for 2 hours straight today because I just had to. I am miserable.

Welp. Its 5 pm and no call. ****. My "friend" says this means I need to deal with this all myself. I actually cried. Now whats that mean- Im mixed or just frustrated as hell?

Pdoc called at 5! We talked till 5:15! She says I have mania and akathisia. She prescribed double the Ativan and over double (to 500) the Seroquel. Yay! Im going to feel better!

500 mg of Seroquel is a lot. I thought I was taking a ton at 400 mg! Yeah, they usually up my Seroquel when I go manic too, but they don't want to go above this dose on me. I am small-boned, small for an adult woman period, weigh too little for my height. They take that into account when they prescribe, I'm sure. Though I often need the higher dosages and usually handle them OK. I don't know what they'll do if I go manic again. Maybe a new AP?

Off to the pharmacy though I dont think the symptoms have quite worn off yet. We shall see.

Im just done at the pharmacy. Ativan 1.0 and seroquel 450 in hand. There was an email between pdoc and the pharmacist re my doses and my pharmacists showed it to me explained it then gave it to me. Only thing is, its got their email addresses on it! And psoc wrote "She has hypomania". Wtf? I thought I had all the symptoms of mania- besides hallucinations.

Just cried again- this time at P- the one who wanted me to getthe big back piece tattoo. I just felt overwhemed by what he said and disappointed at myself for not understanding things and this whole week! (Or two!)

Pdoc called. She wants me to continue with the new doseages. She said the seroquel is for the emotional lability. Ativan (1 mg) is for anxiety and akathisia. Im feeling somewhat better after only one higher seroquel dose. She wants me at 450. Says 500 is okay if I cant make 450 work. She told me to check in with her nurse monday as she wont be in the office. She asked me if I still want sex with everybody and I said yes but didn't tell her that I got some last night. She wants to get me off lithium and Seroquel and get me back on Haldol. I didn't take notes while we were on the phone so that's all I can remember.
