Well, I would say no, but if I eat a very large amount of scallops, especially, and other shell fish, I do get little blisters on my face close to my mouth. That really only seems to happen when I've gone haywire eating them in places like Maine or Nova Scotia. It doesn't happen when I eat these in moderation. My mother was told by a child allergist that when I was a little girl I was allergic to chocolate and peanuts. These foods used to cause an itchy rash behind my leg and arm. Luckily I outgrew that.

What things did you achieve (or were good things that happened to you) last year?

I lost 30 lbs while on clozapine. I exercised until I stopped accidentally. Gotta start again after I get through this week. I stayed fairly stable and the one time I went way up I caught it and was able to stop it with a 4 day pulse of my clozapine dose; otherwise my AP dose was the same all year.

(stealing this from someone weeks ago): how many windows do you have open on your computer right now?

A bunch. Vitamins D, B complex, B12, and a multivitamin and magnesium.

Do you take any meds to counter the effects of your psych meds?

Right now, no. No major side effects. I do take Synthroid to handle the hypothyroidism I developed while on Lithium, but the hypothyroidism is permanent. I have been off Lithium for about four years now. Lithium also caused me mild kidney damage. The only thing I do for that is to drink plenty of water.

Do you like the sound of rain? What sounds (other than music) do you particularly like?

As it hardly rains where I live, I LOVE the sound of rain. I also LOVE the sound of thunder and the ocean. I am a nature girl so almost any sound is nature is wonderful.

Do you have a favourite TV show? One that you can watch all episodes over and over again?

The police banging on my door. Specially if I'm sleeping.

What is your favorite game, that you play.

Its intense, I put it before everything else when I am in that phase. I enjoy it and it hasnt caused me any troubles as I dont go outside of my relationship. Its either with him or just myself as the number of times a day can be very high!

Question: Do you have anything you have achieved that you thought would not be possible due to your health(mental or physical)

Living (somewhat) on my own. (I have a room in a house, so there are other people, but I'm responsible for myself.)

Do you have anxiety going to shops?

Yes, many times. Some included: NAMI, DBSA, Susan B. Komen (breast cancer research), American Cancer Society, Epilepsy Foundation, Vietnam Vets, Big Brother Big Sister, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (forget name), my private high school, my university, National Wildlife Foundation, SAVE (an organization that cares for and finds homes for stray pets and does not put them down), a presidential primary candidate's political campaign, other?

What is your absolute favorite breakfast?

Miss Laura, you were a bit quicker than me. We answered simultaneously. As for volunteering, most of mine were very short-lived. I volunteered stacking books at my library, helped at a hospital with various clerical tasks, fundraised for a NAMI walks event, did NAMI Help Line briefly, was a board member at my local DBSA, was a group leader for an online bipolar support group (not this one). I'm currently not volunteering, but would like to again.

What's your favorite breakfast of all time?

Thanks for this!
Miss Laura

All expenses paid? Go to England and France, complete my genealogical research, learn my ancestors stories and see the places where they walked.

If you could meet anyone from history (ancient or modern), who would it be?
