I made a fish called barramundi. I liked it a lot! I pan seared it on both sides, with the skin becoming nice and crisp. I served it on a kale salad with the barramundi topped with a relish made from capers, roasted red peppers, lemon juice, and garlic.

During what season do you tend to have your most (or worst) hypo/manic episodes? Which one for most (or worst) depressive episodes? Or is there no clear pattern?

My worst manic episode was in the fall. My worst depressive episode was in summer. With all episodes taken into account I can't find a clear pattern.

What's your most frequent type of episode?

ragingvortex, I googled "IED psychiatry" and Intermittent Explosive Disorder showed up. I'm not certain if that is the IED you meant.

Looks like your question was answered by pirilin moments before I answered it. Spike's question below is the latest.

Have you ever lied to our doctor about meds you take/don’t take?

Yes. I guess it was not lying as much as withholding information. The last case was when I reduced my Seroquel XR from 600 mg to 500 mg. That was about three months ago. I did tell him, but not until my next appointment. He told me that I should have called him to let him know so that he had the option to get back to me with any concerns. It wasn't the next appointment after that, but the one following that he raised it by 50 mg to 550 mg. Another instance was a couple years before when I was occasionally taking OTC pseudoephedrine for energy. I knew he didn't want me to take them. Even my pharmacist at the time said that she'd only sell them to me if for my husband, and not me. I lied. Pseudoephedrine is only sold OTC in my state by providing your drivers license to the pharmacist. The reason is because they don't want huge quantities sold to a single person. It can be used to make crystal meth.

Many years before, I had a few cases of stopping my meds on my own, but each time I ended up hospitalized with mania (or mixed mania) and psychosis.

What medication side effect are you most dealing with now, if any?

Vitamin D. I doubt I will move further south.

What meds will you refuse to take again?

Diazepam did absolutely nothing for me, and as I recall I couldn't wait to get off it

i also don't take Melatonin. it just seems so old fashioned (I don't know why I think that, people take it all the time). I used too, years ago, and their's the key word right their years.

I guess also PRASISON- mainly because it did nothing for me

No. I dislike American football. I'm not really into sports. The only sports events I ever watch (just a little) are major tennis tournaments, Tour de France, and maybe a glance at a baseball or world soccer game. I do enjoy a bit of the Olympics.

When/if you exercise, what is your favorite exercise to do?
