After not hearing about the CPS case against me, I called the caseworker. She told me the case has been closed as "ruled out" about a week now, and I should be getting a letter within the next 30 days.
At least that is one less worry  And some good did come out of it, and it prompted me to see a T who turned out to be a good fit (I believe) for me. The deal was if I saw the T on my own, I could skip the 4-6 hour CPS psych assessment, which certainly sounded much more stressful. And the new T I found is super close to my house, I can drive there in 5 minutes, maybe less.
