I woke up this morning feeling totally crazy. Lots of agitation and suicidal thoughts. Possibly with intent. I'm really scared.

Does this happen to anyone here? Just wake up one morning BAM the crazy is back?

I am sorry you are feeling unwell.

My agitation is somewhat chronic, coming and going. I don't usually just awaken in an "episode."

I am very concerned about you.
You had written "...possibly with intent."
Yes, it must be frightening!

Do you think you should call your pdoc?

It's great to see you posting.
I am sorry you are suffering.

I've woke up like that. I ended up in the hospital. Do what's best for you.

Ii would call your mental health team at least. Maybe even go to the psych ER.

This happened to me, but only on my first episode. One day I woke up and everything was...different?

After my first episode, I did a lot of research on bipolar. Since then, I've found that I can spot an episode coming from a few months away just by being mindful and knowing what the symptoms of my condition are.

Yes it happens to me all the time. I wake up to an episode with no trigger. Do you have any PRN’s that you can take to nip it in the bud?

Please take care of yourself.

I've experienced those feelings where they just came out of nowhere.
Please don't risk it. Did you ever do a safety plan with your therapist/pdoc that you can follow? Definitely let your pdoc know, and if there's anyone close to you who is able to look out for you and possibly bring you to the ER or go IP, if needed.
