how was everyone's halloween?

most of my plans (well, all of them really) never happened, and I ended up staying inside eating a selection of party food and drinking lemonaid.

bit depressing really, wanted more to come of it

still really down, so down in fact I've not been able to visit here on a daily bases

hope everyone had a good halloween. did anyone have any trick or treaters or indeed go themselves with kids

I stayed in all day and watched the Scream movies. We didn’t have any trick or treaters as there are no children around where I live. Only older folks.

I hope you feel better soon.

Halloween was the day before where I live since the terrible rain. I took my cousins trick or treating with the boyfriend we all dressed up as Avenger characters. I was Black Widow; the boyfriend was Thor, the little one was Gamora, and the oldest wanted to be Rocket. It was fun.

I'm sorry you didn't have the Halloween you wanted.

My oldest dressed in her Halloween costume and gave out candy. We had about 20 kids and I claimed the leftover Kit Kats. But, alas, they were reclaimed by my kids and handed out at the lunch table at school. Me......I lose again. When it comes to Kit Kats, no one is on my side.

what candy did you have.

I like the little chocolate bars for halloween. just seem appropriate- rather than getting these big sweet bags

Don't celebrate Halloween as I don't have kids. My Sister throws a Halloween party the weekend before or after Halloween whenever the weekend falls. So 26th we had a party her house was very spooky.

31st itself I went to a very posh restaurant with my Sister. I never answer my door even if I get guisers (Scotland's equivalent to Trick or Treater's) my anxiety is high this time of year.

It was rainy. Most churches either cancelled their trunk or treats or went indoors. We only had to do 2 smallish churches this year. One of my daughter's best friends always has a trunk or treat, but they cancelled. Sucks she didn't get to spend the time with her friend but the girl's grandparents (both sets) and parents practically run that church, meaning they are the last to leave, and so are we.

So it was easier on us than usual.

Yeah, off & on here. Rained last year too but less or not as well predicted I think. One time, there was a tornado that came through the neighborhood early Halloween morning. No one had power around here all day. I think that one was a Saturday. I remember one of the Houston news vans was down our street, filming the home that had been hit.
