I've had so much luck with clozapine that my pdoc is considering taking me off my mood stabilizer, trileptal. I've noticed in the past few weeks that I'm more enthusiastic and curious about the world again. More than anything I feel a sense of love radiating from the universe and I feel grateful for all the beautiful souls I've met and have yet to meet.
Anyone else "run fast" even when not hypomanic? I think my baseline is somewhere between "normal" and hypomanic.

For me, sadly, it's hard to know since I have been on psych meds so long. I did have about a 6 month period of stability around a year ago. I remember being more determined about projects, but I did big projects one at a time (finished the first before starting the second). I wanted to pursue new hobbies (but nothing crazy, just crocheting). I was more social, and I joined a book club. I slept regularly at night. I was more productive with chores & keeping up the house, wanted to plant some new plants outdoors. I made a new music playlist. Stuff like that. It wasn't anything crazy or overly alarming.
Are you getting enough sleep each night? For me, that is the absolute line between "running fast" and "manic". 5 hours or less a night, it's hypomania and sure to degrade into mania (for me, rather quickly, unfortunately, 3, 4 days tops). Oh, and I mean the 5 hours is the line for me; I am sure it differs for everyone.
