They have my coworkers spying on me and then weekly I have to meet with my boss to hear what they said. Also she said I am still using my phone too much even if it is for work. I said others use theirs more and she said she didn’t care. I don’t know how much more of this I can take. I am being treated like a toddler and singled out for no reason. They are trying to get me to quit or they will fire me. It is making me very suicidal. My T is going to check in on me this weekend that is how worried she is.

That is so unfair. You deserve much better treatment than that. I also am glad you have a great T. Hang in there. Hopefully soon you will find the energy to seek out a better employer.

I had a really bad nightmare about work last night. My T wants me to find distractions but I am having a hard time doing that. I am so furious about the double standard. The people that caused this whole thing got off without even a slap on the wrist. People say I should hire a lawyer but I am not sure what good it will do.

This sounds like harassment to me. How big is the company? You could file a grievance with human resources. Put it in writing. Maybe have your therapist help you write the letter.
sorry it is so hard right now....I would be pissed off.

((((Crook32)))) I'm sorry you're being treated so unfairly. I hope you'll have the energy to seek another job soon. What does your T suggests apart from distractions? I'm so sorry you have to deal with this... it's really not fair you're being singled out like this.

I see HR Tuesday. I am making a list now and my T is helping me. So far I have:

Phone - told that it looks bad when I use it even when I am doing work. However xxxxxx was on her phone for an entire meeting and Xxxxxxx checked her phone in case is was about her kids. I have done that before and got in trouble. I mentioned that others use their phones more than me but no one says a thing to them. Xxxxxxx said she didn’t care it is only about me. Bad double standard.

Work from home - took away my privilege even though I more than proved I get work done at home. If I want to work at home I have to outline what I will do and how much time. Then Xxxxxxxx will check my work like I am a child.

Weekly check ins to go over weekly feedback she is going to get from task leaders.

Task leaders get my hours wrong and I proved it even had one apologize but Xxxxx still pursuing things as if I am over charging.

Won’t help me find work. Asked her about task leaders she refused to tell me but later claimed she didn’t know.

A lot of mixed messages.

Thought we were past the problems from before but the phone issue proves we are not.

Feel like I am being retaliated against for getting a new supervisor. Still feeling bullied and harassed.

Accommodations not really working out so far.

I know I need to fix it because I sound whiny but it is how I felt when I wrote it.

She wants me out of this job. She too thinks it is unfair that those who started this mess 3 years ago got no punishment and are still on the fast track. This is what happens when you go up against the chosen ones. My boss has told me many times he doesn’t agree with how I switch supervisors. So now he is trying to make things worse under the new one to retaliate.

I wouldn't name names unless you must. It's ok to vaguely say that some people are getting preferential treatment and there are double standards, but saying direct things like, "Kathy gets to check her phone all the time and I can't," is throwing Kathy under the bus and it hurts your credibility, because Kathy is just doing what her supervisor allows. Now you're dragging her into it when it's about your supervisor and you. So instead, say something like, "two members of my team have been allowed to check/use their phones during meetings for the purposes of _____. I am confused as to why some members are able to access their phones and some aren't. I don't know if they have been granted special permission or if there is some misunderstanding, but I would like to be enlightened about this issue because the rules are not clear to me." That's the professional way of doing things. And of course, if they ask for names, then give the names, but don't offer if they don't ask.
Thanks for this!

The names were just the ones of the people who made the accusations against me. I don’t name anyone else.

ah, ok. I misunderstood.

I hope you're able to get good advice and answers from your friend in HR.

Do you know why your supervisors etc don't like you? (Sorry, I haven't kept up with your threads.) My old boss didn't like me because I "didn't talk to him enough," even though he was the one who kept telling me he had no time to talk.

It all started after I was in the hospital 6 times in 2.5 years. When I got back the one guy who I worked great with for over a decade started being passive aggressive and bullying me and harassing me. Then my bosses followed suit. I endured 2 years of that before asking for a change. Then my new boss said I didn’t go about it the right way and now he is retaliating against me.

My HR friend was appalled by how they have treated me at work. She thinks I should hire an attorney.
