I'm either really angry or just mentally gone. Like, not there. What the hell is going on with me today?

I am sorry you are going through this. Is there any chance you find your anger triggering? If so, you might "check out" as a response to angry feelings.
Just a thought, may be way off base.

This must be very uncomfortable.

I hope you can figure this out.
Stay safe.

I don't know. I never really communicate about my mental health. I've kind of given up on the mental health system but now I have to go because my university requires it from me. It's ********, really, but whatever.

Thanks.

Your experiences might also be related to mood?
Many of us living with BP have periods of irritability.

I hope your involvement in mental health counseling helps you to figure out what's happening for you.

I hope so too. I read your post about Mirapex. I think I'll try it. Its a dopamine agonist, meaning a greater sense of well being, better sex drive and focus according to what I've read. It also works as a lactose inhibitor and primarily prescribed for patients with parkinsons.

Yes! My pdoc uses it for very stubborn cases of depression.

On occasion, some people have a strong reaction to it and vomit. Just an FYI. My pdoc had tried it for her restless legs at night and she'd had this reaction, so could not take it.

She's had some success treating her very depressed patients though.

I have not tried it yet, simply because she is trying to get my mood stabilized with Lamictal. She has also been changing meds and dosages for the past three months. If I need it once we are done tweaking meds, I will try it.

Nice to have you posting!
Just sorry you are having a tough time.
