In addition to these two antidepressants, are you on a mood stabilizer? (Most psychiatrists I've encountered in 30+ years are hesitant to prescribe any antidepressants, much less two, especially without having a mood stabilizer in the mix for patients they've diagnosed with BP.) Of course, if the combo is working for you, take it and screw med protocols and/or the diagnosis

Currently on seroquel xr 200 seroquel ir 25 at bedtime
Wellbutrin 150 and ativan for anxiety and so i can leave the
house..hoping this works coming off 2 years rapid cycling
unmedicated ..in major depression right now..

I'm currently taking Lamictal. I started it on Thursday and so far no side effects, but I'm on the lowest dose (25mg) for 2 weeks then I up it. Doctor wants me to go up 200mg. Things might get interesting at that point. We shall see.

In the past I've been on Geodon and Celexa for Major Depression. I didn't like Geodon however I loved Celexa and was on it for 7 years with no issues until it stopped working at the highest dose I was allowed (40mg). Then I went on Welbutrin which I didn't like at all.
