So something told me that I may want to check my insurance benefits since it's a new year. Well I did and learned that this year I don't have to meet a crazy deductible before insurance pays for mental health treatment and the copay is manageable as well, so I only have a $30 copay to see a pdoc or therapist! I had my initial assessment yesterday and go for my first med management appointment tomorrow!! This is huge! If you've read my previous post, you know I've been at this with very little treatment for almost 19 years!!

Me too! I'm excited and nervous. Treatment has never been easy to get for me or very helpful when I did get it! I'm hoping this time is different!

I'm so glad for you! No one should have to avoid mental health treatment because of money.

That's great news. Very happy for you. My deductible and out of pocket is $7,000 and Co-pays doubled to $60. So expensive. I need the help
