I agree with almost all the artists you mentioned. I couldn't even begin to list my favourites as I am a music nut, but anything alternative and 90's is usually great for me. My all time favourite artist is PJ Harvey and (hard to nail it down but I will give it a shot) all time favourite band is Nirvana. Not the 'Nevermind' album, although that was a masterpiece that changed a generation, but the rest of their work, especially 'In Utero'. I do like some 00's and more recent music, it's just I feel the 90's were amazing for music. I will give special mentions to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Sex Pistols and many other bands/artists that changed music.

Gosh, I could go on forever.

Edit: must add Eminem. He is a genius.

Honestly, I’ll listen to anything except country and emo/screamo. Well, I don’t like so much screaming in general. Not my cup of tea. Queen is probably my all-time favorite, though. Lots of good 80s bands.

When I was a lot younger, Backstreet Boys were my favorite. lol. I also liked N*Sync. Ha! I was like 9 at the time and had lots of posters of Backstreet Boys and N*Sync. I loved Brian from Backstreet Boys and Lance from N*Sync. I wanted to marry both at the same time.

I like trip hop like Kruder&Dorfmeister wearing my noice cancelling headset at work. Fast rhythm electronic stuff like The Prodigy, Depeche Mode too bombastic. Rammstein, linkin park, stromae, oasis, the cure, amy winehouse, jimi hendrix, doors, billy idol, u2, eurythmics, classics at times, am an omnivore.

I collect anything by tori amos, and have most things by her accept her newest cd

funny thing is, when I was about 9, I had a cd and it had an interview with her on it and I really hated it and got rid of it (I wish I hadon't). now I like her and realise her lyrics have a lot of meaning (and she plays the piano, and the piano is awesome)
I'm also a big MJ (michael jackson) fan, and I like linken park and disturbed

I also like amanda palmer (but when she was solo, not in the drezdon dolls), however evilyn evilyn (a project she did with someone else) is sorta cool. (and scary).

I like EA (emilie autumn), and collect any of her cds too.

demmi lovato

katy perry

abba

E-TYPE

BZN (a dutch group)

many others

I'll throw a few über-faves out, but it's far from exhaustive ...
The Cure, Joy Division, Dead Can Dance, Echo and the Bunnymen, Interpol, Editors, Massive Attack (especially Mezzanine), The Smiths, Bauhaus, Kraftwerk, Gang of Four, Wire, XTC... etc., etc...

You get the idea (BIG post-punk fan! )

I listen to mostly oldies, classic rock and some CCM. My all time favorite would probably be Johnny Cash and I love The Beatles, Elvis, The Beach Boys. I like Ani Difranco and Jeremy Camp (kinda the opposite of each other, ha). I love Simon and Garfunkel, The Be Good Tanyas and Tori Amos. I like Third Day, Christy Nockels, and LED Zepplin. I love Patty Griffin and even some Rod Stewart and Kenny Rogers (grew up on them). I like the Supremes, The Temptations, and The Four Seasons. I could go on and on!

Jane Siberry, Matthew Good (i'm patriotic -- they're both Canadian). I'm seeing Matthew Good on his live acoustic tour in March -- can't wait! Alanis Morissette (seems like she is familiar with the experience of bipolar, especially in "Everything" and "That i Would be Good"). Sinead O'Connor, Eminem (especially "Spacebound" and "You're Never Over" -- Eminem's so clever with words! He's the Bruce Lee of loose leaf!)
