Did you guys ever try Zonisamide (sold as Zonegran) instead of Topamax?

I have read reviews of people who have tried Topamax and many are real nightmares due to the side effects.

Zonisamide gave me a mania so bad that I ended up losing my job.

past medications: Depakote, Lamictal, Lithium, Seroquel, Trazodone, Risperdal, Cogentin, Remerol, Prozac, Amitriptyline, Ambien, Lorazepam, Klonopin, Saphris, Trileptal, Clozapine and Clozapine+Wellbutrin, Topamax
