At least the pain and stiffness are going down from the shot. My husband is doing better as well. The t-shirt I’m making for him isn’t going as planned and I’m rather concerned. Oh well, it’s all a learning experience anyway. And I have more fabric.

My daughter’s car is fixed, and she and her boyfriend are coming over for Fathers Day. It’s incredible that it’s only in the past year that she realized how much my husband did for her. Her biological father left before she was born, so he’s the only real father she’s had.

I’m done for now. Lots of love to everybody!

I'm having a hard time with father's day this weekend. For the first time in 20 years I would have been able to send my father a card or a little gift and instead his ashes are still on a shelf waiting to be scattered next month. His birthday was a few weeks after he died and while I'd also figured out how to get him a birthday gift without giving him my address I wasn't as sad about that; I was still early in the coping process I think.

Nothing can change this. It's just sad.

Saw my T today. It was extremely helpful. We discussed the PTSD and how my last episode from hell was linked to past trauma, and how it traumatised me. Just talking about all these things, and analysing then, helped reduce my anxiety and the flow of memories. So many revelations in the last week. Now I feel more in control. I feel freedom!

Thankfully my sister called my dad, who came home and called 911 for the fire department to help investigate, because my mom was just gonna go upstairs for a nap. I wish I were joking!! My sister and I were on FaceTime with her later on and my sister kept pleading to her to go outside next time. I don’t think my mom realizes how fast carbon monoxide can kill you. Ugh.

The gas was turned off by the fire dept, and my dad called the emergency line for the gas company. What a mess... Makes me worry about my mom since she does these kinds of ridiculous things, and she’s not that old either. She should know better.

Very scary. I’m glad your Dad was able to hurry up and get things handled.

Doing ok. Crazy busy at work this week. Had my yearly performance evaluation and that was fine, was kinda worried since I moved to new department in Oct. But it was all good. Finally got highlights put in my hair and love it!! Very natural looking.

My husband and I just got back from a Father's day picnic my brother, sister, and I arranged for our father. It went well and was pleasant. Our dad seemed to appreciate it, though it is clear to us all that he is a slightly changed man. My brother observed that Dad is a much quieter person. We all agreed that his psych hospitalization was likely humbling in a way. I know that it can be.

I'm doing okay. I'm muddling through with a chronic low to medium grade depression.

My kitty has been back home for a week after being in hospital for radioactive iodine therapy for her hyperthyroidism. There's no marked change in her yet, but it can take up to three months. I imagine my mood will improve once she starts feeling better.

Went back to my p doc on Thursday and this time got dx with bipolar with depression and given a sample of vraylar. Took it and then threw up at work on Friday and had to go home early. Took some again today to see if the vomiting comes back. I asked my p doc why he was dx me as bipolar and not ptsd and he said you can’t treat ptsd with medication. Previously I was on lamictal but apparently it made me angry? Le sigh.

I take vraylar and it helps me a lot, hope it helps you. When I first started taking it I would get nauseous but that went away after awhile

Is that all you take? I didn’t experience nausea today so it also could’ve been something I ate at work. I also don’t notice I’m any happier then usual either.

We got the floor of our deck stained and sealed today. It looks so amazing. We won’t be able to paint for a few days rain is coming. I just can’t wait to see it finished.

I’m still doing fine off meds

I’m glad you had a nice time. There’s no place like home, I’m always relieved when we make it home in one piece from all our Florida trips lol

I’m glad you have found some peace

My ceiling is being repaired next week from a leak. Pretty anxious about it, don't like having people in my apartment, especially when they're in and out, I have two cats and don't want the to get out so I'm going to see if they can work on it during days I'm home.

Got all the paperwork done for the new apartment I'm trying to get into. Now I just wait till there's an opening and they give me a call

Didn't want to take my meds or sleep last night but I made myself.

It's a rainy today which I love

That’s great you’re doing well off meds. I’m happy for you! I wish I could go off them myself, but doing so is not for everyone.

Meds have so many sucky side effects. Ack!
