saw my T today and I think I freaked the poor guy out. he is relatively new but he's never seen me have an episode, and he knew right away that I wasn't quite right. he quickly sat me down and we had an hour session. I was just all over the place. talking over him, fidgeting, talking fast and my eyes were darting everywhere. unfortunately, I couldn't get to see the PDoc since he was gone for the day, but I do see him this Monday. I suppose I have to implement some mindfulness and coping skills over the weekend. plus, my wife will be home to keep an eye on me.

I have had decreased need for sleep and my mania hits me worse in the evening. oh, I started taking my new blood pressure meds and even though my lab work looks ok, I have still to hear from my GP about any adrenal issues, but we'll see. currently watching "Jaws" and just hanging out on PC for now. it comforts me being here. that's about it for now, everyone. still feeling mixed but at least I'm home safe. hope everyone is well!

I’m mixed too. Hard time sleeping, crying and angry, sad and couldn’t sit still in t session. He even offered to let me walk around. I was fidgety. Tomorrow is the derby party so I gotta fake it til I make it.

fake it till you make it! know the feeling very well. try to have though, if you can! my T left the door open today while he searched for my PDoc and he gave me a bucket of sand to mess around with and ground myself. definitely a different experience. I think he was a little freaked by my mania. but yeah, feeling all the feels with this mixed state today. one minute I'm listening to upbeat music and flailing my arms around in my truck, and the next I'm listening to sad soundtrack music, crying. ugh. it's horrible. I hope you get through yours fast. wishing you well and sending hugs!

Also I went to the psychiatric urgent care and the psych nurse there increased my rexulti. The pharmacy won’t have it til Monday. Luckily I have enough of my current dose to take one and a half of.

I’m so
Annoyed by everyone and everything!

oh wow. I can so relate. I hate when my pharm has to always "order" my psych meds. one time they rushed ordered my meds because my wife got pretty upset about it. they ended up getting it from another store. good luck this weekend.

yes! exactly! for me sometimes it's star trek the motion picture. in a way it's kinda soothing and the score is beautiful, but something about it pacifies me and pouts me to sleep. same with 2001 a space odyssey.

Hey Jedi, I'm glad to see you posting today. It sucks you have to wait until Monday to see your pdoc, but at least you are on the schedule. I'm glad your wife and kids are keeping an eye on you too. It is so great that you have the support of your family. What a blessing.

Maybe a Star Wars marathon this weekend in honor of the holiday?

yes! a SW marathon is such a great idea! thanks. I'll probably watch them in order. It'll b cool.

and yes, I am blessed to have a wonderful support system in place. I am a little anxious about struggling this weekend, but Monday isn't that far off. I've had to wait much longer in the past.

I also plan to do some adult coloring, too. my wife recently bought me a set of nice gel pens and I have some awesome colored pencils to break in.

My therapist and my husband both have mentioned the coloring to me. Maybe I should give it another shot. It reminds me of being IP when I colored to try and focus because my brain felt like mush from the meds. I remember not even being able to read a page of a book.

In order is the only way to watch. What's your favorite episode? My husband and I watch them all the time.

Bwahahaah. You just reminded me how when I am really plagued with insomnia or staying in a hotel...all I have to do is put on "Forensic Files" and . I don't know what it is...the music, his voice.

I wanted to say thank you, Jedi, because your post helped me through a confused and zippy day. I realized that I have so many contributing factors that can be adding to the Mix. Steroid injections. Removal of a med 2 days ago. Lots of "stuff" happening in life that is uncertain, new T and psych.

Sometimes...we are just human.

YES. I have only seen my new trauma therapist and new psychiatrist once so far. It is both overwhelming and exciting. PC has actually been a blessing to remember I am not alone...
