I tried calling to see my dr sooner than June 25 but he’s going on vacation. So I left a message with that Rudd receptionist. Hopefully he will help me.

June 25 is a long way away and it seems like you need care right now. Do you have 2 pdocs you see regularly?

Just the one. But I can go to urgent care tomorrow if I need to. It’ll cost me but it’s cheaper than a hospital stay.
I went ahead and made the appointment at urgent care tomorrow in case my dr doesn’t wanna do anything without seeing me. They told me he can’t see me sooner so I already tried that. If he does do something I’ll cancel the urgent care appt

Food for thought: We get much better treatment outcomes when we work in collaboration and honesty with our treatment teams than when we work at cross-purposes with them. I wish you well with your choice.

He said as long as I can control the urge to hurt myself (when I went ip I was self harming like crazy because satan was attacking me I thought and was suicidal) and to keep
My hope. That’s all he offered. He’s going on vacation for two weeks so I won’t see him til June 25.

He also said it will take time for the ect to work. I had 7 treatments. My next one isn’t until two weeks away.
I want to just give up on it all

My psychologist isn’t happy. He wants me to go back to my
Previous dr. I switched two months ago. He wants me to be back with someone who knows my history and helped me find stability for a prolonged amount of time.
