I had a dream last night that I went to an ice cream stand and they were selling ice cream with different psych meds mixed in. For example, "quetiapine vanilla ice cream" and "mint chocolate chip lexapro." Apparently, the ice cream completely masked the flavor of the med, but if you ate the ice cream, it was the same as swallowing a med with water. Only thing is that if you had a higher dose of a med, you needed to eat more ice cream. lol.

If it has chocolate in it, I'd eat it for sure. Double chocolate chunk geodon with caramel.

Peanut butter and chocolate Seroquel. Mint chocolate chip Haldol.

It would have to be a spoonful of ice cream, or we'd definitely gain weight!

I've taken well over 25 different medications in my life and very few seemed to stay in my mouth long enough to taste them. I swallow them pretty quickly. I can only recall tasting supplements and maybe one other pill, which I forget. Considering that I'd like to drop 10 to 20 lbs, I'd say no to the ice cream. Especially not everyday.

It would be grand to have all of my meds combined into one. I know that is possible, in some cases, but certainly not mine.

Yes! I agree with Blue_Bird, any excuse to enJOY ice cream.

The only med I take that tastes horrible is prednisone! Horrible and dissolves so fast, it is difficult to swallow it fast enough!

Interesting dream, Blue!

Well that's a little more appealing. I wish it was a zero calorie zero fat vanilla cream filled donut, though. I like ice cream, but I'm not an ice cream fanatic.

Not a psych Med , but studies are showing Mucinex (of all things ) 600mg twice a day is showing pain relief in some people with Fibromyalgia.

Just the smell of it makes me practically gag and it tastes horrible, I take it as fast as possible with tons of water and I can barely do it

I’m on week 5 ...I think and most studies say minimum 3 months to determine if it will help or not , so I’ll stick to it.

Ice cream shows much more pleasant.

No. I swallow my meds easily and more importantly quickly. The idea of having to linger over a med ice cream isn’t for me.

blue, that is some dream! Your mind got really creative on that one.

We could do sherbet flavors to avoid weight gain...Luscious Lime Lamictal...Apricot Abilify...Peachy Pristiq...Coconut Clonazapam...Raspberry Rexulti...Loquat Lithium...

Okay. I'll be quiet now
