I am done. I cannot work here anymore with these lying backstabbers. Only problem is finding another job and can I hold out until I do.

I a sorry you have reached your limit. Yet, it seems like you have tried very hard to make things work there. Maybe it is best to find something else? Any chance you can hang in there until you have secured a different job?

I hope something else comes along soon, something that better suits you!

Yes, I found my last two jobs through a recruiter. They contacted me. Recruiters still contact me even though I'm happy with the job I have. I would recommend contacting a recruiter.

I wish I had some words of wisdom to spare, but unfortunately I don't have any. Here's a hug

I signed up with a recruiter. They brought me a job about 4 months ago that feel through at the last minute. The other recruiters who have contacted me either pay too little or are too far away. I hope something works out soon. I hate interviewing. Change is even worse. I thought about a career change but it requires going back to school and that isn’t going to happen.

I don't know what you mean by "pay too little," but I am getting paid about $10k less than the average person in my position. However, I have the opportunity to work from home whenever I want. For example, I could decide to never go into the office again and I'll still have my job and still get paid. It's great for when I'm in an episode because people can leave me the hell alone and I can work whatever hours I want. For example, I can work from 9-5, or 7pm until 3am (not that I would do that, but I'm just saying I can). Like 99% of jobs out there in my field require you to be in the office. So, there are pros and cons and pay is just one part of the overall equation.

Personally, I would rather be happy and get paid less than have a job which pays more and I'm miserable. Trust me, I had a job that paid very well when I first got out of college and I f_cking hated it. I took a pay cut for my current job and I couldn't be happier.

IMO, mental health is more important than pay. Even if you had to drive far, is the job nice? Do you like it? etc. etc. Sometimes we have to compromise to get what we want. Ideally, we all want a high paying job at an amazing company that's close to our house, but the "total package" is hard to come by.

Just my 2 cents.

That is the problem I had the total package but then had to go out on disability and everything changed. By pay too little I meant when a few companies called me they asked my salary and they said they couldn’t come close to it so they wouldn’t consider me anymore. Even when I said for the right job I would take a pay cut they saw that as a red flag as to me desperately wanting to get out of my current job. I hate job hunting.

A total stranger asked for my resume and then recommended me for two jobs. There are still good people in this crazy world.
