Awwww WC You are always so kind

So... we are going to just do 5 more days of Steroids and adding Augmentin 875mg “in case” there is an infection that is unlikely as I have no symptoms... but best to just take it. Continue with current Asthma inhalers and nebulizing.

They are referring me to a Pulmonologist ( of course it’s 1.5 hours away) this is likely going to take weeks and weeks to get in, we had one locally but he just closed his practice last week. So his entire practice is being referred out.

My oxygen saturation is 95-97 I’m getting adequate oxygen so it’s not a OMG emergency. I just get SOB when I’m up and moving.

Average person takes 12- 14 breaths per minute, I’m running 20 -24. So this is just exhausting.

Thank you everyone for all the kind words it means a lot

Thanks for the update, Christina. I've missed something, so if you feel up to it, give me a few sentences so I know what the problem is.

I’ve been in a big Asthma flare now for 6 weeks ..

I have never needed more than Steroid shot and 10 days of oral steroids to clear it all up.

This is just very bizarre.

Hi Christina, it’s RainyDay. I have been absent from PC for quite awhile. I want you to know I consider you a friend and I’m sending positive vibes your way. Feel free to PM me anytime.

I was actually thinking about you yesterday. You are so supportive and I am using a lot of toolbox tips right now. Coping skills I learned from you.

Hang in there, Christina. Sending positivity your way.

Rainy

Oh, that is odd. That your labs are normal is certainly encouraging, but I sure wish it wouldn't have to take such an extended period of time to see the pulmonologist.
