I am hypomanic AF. My thoughts are all over the place it is taking me forever to type I make so many mistakes, argh!

Any ideas for soothing activities when you're ramping up? I'm worried about this escalating.

Avoid a lot of bright light. No caffeine. Limit sugar. Try essential oils like lavender to help calm you. Soothing relaxing music, preferably without lyrics. Grounding exercises. Coloring. Watching a non-activating tv show or movie. You can try exercise or cleaning or something physical, but it may also further energize you so be careful with that one. Crafting.

I think the hypomania faded after that extra does of clonazepam. Unfortunately, though, the angels are still surveilling me. They are out to scare me because in the past God has communicated to me as a chosen person. This hasn't happened in like three years though. Why the angels are menacing me now?

The last time God "chose" me to do something important for Him, I got into a car accident and almost died. The resultant medicolegal fallout pretty much destroyed my life, pretty much forever.

So, be careful. Be very, very careful. With this illness, one hour you're okay, the next, you are out of your mind. If you start getting commands, you are not hypomanic. You are either really manic or psychotic--or both. It is a dangerous state to be in. It is an emergency. So be careful.

Sending you positive vibes and wishes. Take care of yourself.

Hi Franz!

It seems as though you often decompensate rather quickly.
I love the options given to you for calming yourself.

As bpcyclist and ~Christina have advised (above), please contact your pdoc.

Stay safe! Much Love!
