I'm glad!

I feel like I can breathe a bit more now. Usually I have depression during the holidays, but this year was mania just before Christmas that left messes for me to deal with. Oh well...

I forget how much I get wound up in the Holidays until after they are over.

Yes, I'm plenty glad. Now I can look toward spring. By February flowers will start appearing.

I wish flowers appeared in February for us, but February is when we get our annual blizzard. lol. Like 2+ feet of snow dumped on us in less than 24 hours. In fact, Nemo was the worst when I lived downtown. The city had to get special permission to dump the snow in the ocean when there was no space to put it (because normally it is illegal to dump in the ocean).

I'm glad they are over, too.

My husband and I put our decorations up last minute so leave them up well into January. I don't mind that at all, but am always relieved when they do get taken down. I'm happy when all of the over eating and spending calms.

I'm especially glad that New Year's Eve is over. For some reason, it has been a triggering holiday the past few years. I guess because my life is not going the way I want it to due to the death of my best friend and the loss of certain people who were in my life.

I have mixed emotions. I AM glad the holidays are over. Having said that, I had a good time this year and my daughter went back to college once they were over so I didn’t love that.

I'm definitely glad the holidays are over. Christmas is a little stressful. Just need to get motivated to take my tree down. Christmas isn't entirely over for me yet. Have my Christmas get together with my mom today, but it should be pretty low key.

I know...for most folks February is very much winter. That has to be rough. Hopefully, we'll have more rain in the spring than we're getting now. Either way, we'll get the first flowers around Valentine's Day. I so look forward to that.

Interesting about the snow being dumped into the ocean!
