Just an up date:
I scheduled an appointment with my providor today. I had asked for some anti spasmatics last week and they called me monday morning and they had an appointment this after noon for 3:30pm So I hurried thru my after noon appointments to get there early. After spending a lot of time with me 20 minutes she order a hip exray because I complained of groin pain. She told me to not see the chirpractor until we got the results back. she prescribed muscle relaxers 3 times a day but I will only take them 2 times per day when I am home. I stopped by our grocery store and picked up some salon paus roller of 4%lidocaine and the RX for muscle relaxer. It took for ever to get the x-ray done. wonder if the adjustments were too strong and I have a hip fracture from them, will find out later tomorrow. So I might have 2 things going on. SI joint pain and hip leg pain.
sigh
just what I don't need. I could work today but it was difficult getting dressed, putting my pants on.

Chronic pain is sich a misery in every way. Good that she gave you a muscle relaxer. That was what cause my SI pain to stop.

My SI joint hurts a little it is much better over all.

I keep having thigh pains though.....I still have some pain in my groin, the xray was negative but showed some arthritis.
Thank you for your encouragement!

With hurricane delta in the the gulf it will hit either us or lake charles again!!!!!!
We are staying put. our neighborhood electricity is the same network for a hospital way down the road. so that is why we rarely lose powder.
We have good flood insurance and home owners insurance. large deductibles but we believe in insurance.
we both went to the store and bought ham and cheese and bread and alcohol so we are set.

I just lost a long post.
anyway We survived the storm, i was quite nervous about staying behind. 75 mile an hour winds from what I read on face book. Jeff likes to go out side under the patio cover and watch the trees bend and listen to the wind howl. We had many limbs and twigs/leaves to rake up today.
Last night our neighbors dog got lose, they had part of the fence blown down. and jeff tried to get the dog but he was afraid of him so jeff went back inside. They finally got the dog back in.
This morning the big limbs were gone....we asked our neighbors and they had pulled them up to their yard waste pile as a thank you for jeff trying to get the dog. That was so sweet of them.
We never lost power due to our electric grid is the same one that the hospital runs on a few miles away, we only heard one transformer blow up near by.....
any way hurricane season ends nov 31st, 6 more weeks. It has been an active season.
Hurricane laura hurt lake charles badly2 weeks ago. I am sure they were effected by this storm too.
We ate and drank alot during those 3 hours of stormy weather.
thanks for your well wishes.

Thanks for the update, bizi I'm so glad to hear that you're well and safe! (Our fire season ends in November, too. If only we had some of your rain. It's beyond ironic.)

I'm happy that the dog was caught - and what kind neighbors! Having nice neighbors makes life so much easier.

I have to do laundry today going to the laundry matt.

jeff is going to do it at home and just put a towel down to soak

up the water when it leaks.
the repair guy comes in a week or so.
some how I forgot to pay the state taxes.
It is over $1,000 with penalties interest etc.
sigh
got up late today 10;30kept getting up to go pee. at 3 am I took a remeron sleeping pill.
I think it helped.
I really don't want to be taking that as it is so addictive.
I hope you have a nice day.

I have a spinal tap tomorrow morning checking for proteins which could be indicative of some dementia.I got information about it on the web. no chance of paralysis it is below the spinal cord.
last week I had an mri of my brain...results were normal.

I feel pretty confident. just want to get the test over with. I canceled all of my appointments for tomorrow, except for my therapist appointment at 3pm.
my spinal tap is for 10 am supposed to lay flat for 2-4 hours after the test.
So I did not want to worry about seeing clients. A side effect is a headache. It could last 5 days, laying down gets rid of it. So I should be able to sleep.
Thanks for the well wishes.

Just got back from lunch we went early for chris' chicken and sausage gumbo.
It was really good today but really hot!!!!
I am seeing one client today. at 2pm. The place she lives at made me go and

get tested for the covid. at their facility on wednesday, out of town then I am going back there
for my client today It takes about a half an hour to go there.
Of course I tested negative and that is why I am able to go today.

She is so excited for me to be coming to see her.
I have been seeing her for years at 3 different facilities,
she is never happy with the place it is ok when she first gets there,
then the honey moon period is over and she starts complaining
one place asked her to leave because she was complaining so much.

It is a pretty day today sunny and 70's, turned on the air conditioner last night
because the house felt hot 73 degrees we like it at 70....so left the air set at 75,
to get it to 70....old thermostat.

what do you keep your house set at. how cold have the temps been for you.
Is this a laundry weekend for you?
I have either one load or two loads. This weekend I have 2 loads.

One of my scrub pants have perpetual stains that I keep trying to get out. looks terrible.

so I went back to wear I bought them and was going to order2 more pairs because

some times I work a saturday and have to wear the same pants 2 days 2 days in a row.
THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SAME color that I have ceil blue.

so I picked purple from the list of jockey pants colors. they take 1-2 weeks to come in, they will call me.

Even so I think I finally got out the stains but we will see I wash them tomorrow.

Stains can be so annoying.

Our temperatures here have been blessedly cool...mid-60's. I've used my heater just a bit in the cold mornings. When I do use the heater I set it at about 70.

Laundry! There's so much of it during the colder months. I'm having to do laundry at least twice per week. I'd still rather do laundry than dishes.

I am still having hot flashes. so I prefere the house colder than most I think. So at night I can take my side of covers off and then put them back on when the flash goes away.
during the day I take off the sweater, cardigan when I get hot and back it goes on when I get cold again. drives hubby crazy.

Ugh. Hot flashes. You have my utter empathy. Hot flashes have seriously been one of the most challenging events in my life. In addition to menopause, I've found that some meds (AP's, maybe?) cause sort-of "mock" hot flashes. *sob*
