I’ve had a pretty rough month. I’ve been taking Seroquel to try and keep even with some success. Last night I took somewhere between 6 and 8 mg of Xanax and don’t remember a thing. I guess I also figured a little bit of vodka wouldn’t Lost hours. had been without the Xanax for a couple of days so I guess I was playing catch-up.

Stupid, I know, but that’s what I did. I woke up at 1:00pm with more si marks on my arm in addition to what I already had. I was wearing a bath towel and a robe in bed but didn’t take a shower last night which is a bit curious.

I’m probably going to put a call in to my pdoc on Monday. I can’t seem to get a handle on things right now. Please don’t pass judgement. I’m hurting.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so poorly. I’ve over served myself on Ativan before, mixing it with a good bit of trazadone, “for sleep”. I was hospitalized a couple days later.

Please be careful. And do call your pdoc ASAP. Maybe get someone to hold your meds for you? The arts what my therapist always makes me do.

Absolutely no judgment here. I'm so, so sorry that you're having a rough go right now. Calling your pdoc on Monday sounds like an excellent idea. Keep us posted

Can you call a crisis line sooner. Monday feels far away for what your dealing with. Not judging just concerned.

I don’t think a crisis line will help at this point. I know what I did was a bit messed up. I felt like I was poisoned yesterday. My wife told me I was acting odd that night and my daughter noticed too. I don’t remember a thing. I’m going to take it easy on the Xanax I’ve never blacked out like that before.

Sorry that you are dealing with this mental anguish. I certainly won't judge you, as I know no one is perfect.

I'm glad you're going to take it easy on the Xanax now. That's an excellent first step!

Please do let us know what your pdoc has to say, and feel free to let us know what we can do to further support you.

I called my Pdoc today. He’s on vacation til the end of January. The nurse said they talk with him daily and she would pass on the info I gave her. He will probably call me himself as I usually don’t call him unless I really feel like there’s something wrong. Waiting patiently.

I heard back from pdoc today. Increase in lithium (900 back up to 1200mg), take the Seroquel if it helps, and go easy on the Xanax (pretty obvious, I know). He's getting me a script for blood work (lithium level). I always seem to have struggles when he's on vacation (bad luck I suppose), but I've been seeing him for years, and he is very good and attentive. He's not a pill pusher. We collaborate on my treatment and meds. I'm hoping to get in for a visit later this month when he returns. I hope I can get things turned around...I had been feeling pretty normal for a good while before this setback. Thanks all for your concern.
