I was trying to sleep last night. Tossed and turned for hours. When I heard my grandma from downstairs yelling my name. Thinking she’d fallen again I ran down there to find her peacefully reading the paper and watching tv. She hasn’t said a thing.

Then I get to work and swear a woman was talking.....I work alone in a staffed residence for men. Again-was t real.

So odd. It really scared me!

Hi Hallie! It's Sunday! Do you have to work today? If you have time off, maybe go to do something fun?

Yes, I think it might cause me great concern, too. I would especially be concerned about my grandmother if thinking she might have fallen.

While growing up, my father was very abusive. He could be a very scary guy. I grew up with my mother calling out my name, looking for help (as in my calling the police).
I'd heard her calling out so often and for many years. When I left home to attend college, I was very anxious about whether or not she would be okay? My anxiety was so high and I was so concerned about her welfare, that I thought I could hear her crying out my name every now and then. It was very alarming at the time. I thought I was "crazy." Lol. The truth is I was very concerned and highly anxious about her welfare.

I wonder if you might be having a similar reaction to being very concerned about your grandma's welfare?
Just a thought.

I hope you have a good day!

I had thought of that. I’ve found her fallen three times and she passed out and almost fell a week ago. I had to call ems a lot.

Within the context of the situation with your grandma and with how concerned you are about her, there is nothing weird about your recent experience.
At least I don't think it's weird at all.

I realize you have been under a lot of stress. You have done amazingly well making sure your grandma is as safe and as well as she can be.
I think you are an amazing person so be so concerned and so devoted to her welfare. It's all Love in Action! You are showing how you feel about her with all you do!

I feel that many experiences you have are truly not "weird" at all. They might feel unusual; yet, they may totally make sense according to whatever is going on in your life!??

Keep on being Amazing!!!

Hey, Hallie--I have these kinds of experiences all the time. And I do get frightened by them as well. I have to go through a whole thing to kind of calm myself down and remind myself that it is almost certainly just my brain, playing tricks on me. Then, I feel better.

This will pass. Then, it will probably come back again. It's fine. You can deal with it. You are strong!!!!

I’m hearing a beeping noise and it’s driving me nuts because I can’t find a thing in the house that’s beeping

I think WC really brings up a really good point about your granny falling and hurting herself and I know it’s a constant worry for you.

Beeping noise ??? Maybe a old Tamagotchi from the 90’s???? Lmfao

I have a foyer and a short hallway at the bottom of my stairs. There's a high pitched hum going on. It's gone on for at least two weeks now. We just try to figure it out and laugh when we do not know and move on to other things. Life is too short to spend a lot of time and energy on noises we can't locate or cannot identify.

Is it possible to just move on without an explanation?

I recall Christina writing a couple of weeks ago something like every noise does not signal the onset of a need for IP.

I think you would be setting yourself free, to some extent, to just let some of this go. Maybe don't lend it so much of your precious time/energy? just let it be whatever it is and move on?

Is it possible to just let it go?

Much Love
