Trigger warning
Not much is stopping me from harming myself. I see psyd tomorrow and don’t wanna disappoint him so that’s what’s stopping me. I almost don’t feel safe but I am. I won’t do it. I can’t. I can’t end up ip!

I tried. I tried so hard. But I ended up self harming a few times. He will be disappointed and I hate that. Maybe I shouldn’t tell

I don't think he will be disappointed in you cutting yourself. It happens and I'm sure he realizes that. If anything, he would be disappointed in you hiding this from him.

I guess you’re right. My friend really helped me not do it then I lost control in the middle of the night.

If you go to a therapy office (rather than seeing a therapist who runs a one-man business), can you ask to see another therapist for the time being? For example, my therapist has made time to see clients who aren't hers, but she did it because they were in crisis mode and needed help ASAP. You just have to explain the situation and ask the front desk to let you see someone else for a crisis appt.

That's a bummer
Well, do you think you will be safe today? I know you don't want to go to IP, but if you don't think you're safe, IP may be the best option unless there is a local crisis center. Your life is more important than anything right now. I know you're in school and such, but school can wait if you need help ASAP. You can always get extended due dates, you can reschedule exams, etc.. And your workplace would definitely rather see you safe than hurt. No human with a good conscience would want to hear that their friend, coworker, etc got hurt, even if they have never verbally expressed that. |

I saw pdoc yesterday and he suggested ip.
I was supposed to see t today but he’s sick so they’re letting me see someone else in his office. Idk how it will go. I’ve never met her but it’ll be good to talk all this out .

Sounds like you should go then! Do you have a ride, or are you going to drive yourself? I always find getting a ride to the psych ER to be less stressful.
