I am trying to work. This is my third week at my new job. My problems staying awake during the day are getting worse. I have panic attacks. I can’t concentrate. How do I get her to understand that I can’t work anymore. I am not productive. They will eventually end up firing me. My pdoc is having me move meds around to see if that helps. I am just worthless. I have stomach problems so I spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I don’t even know how much time I actually spend working.

I'm sorry you are struggling. I feel like it is possible you are spinning due to the adjustment. You were at your last job for a long time. This is a major change. I'd hate to see you walk away only to realize when things cool down that you wish you could go back. I know it is hard, but most with experience advise that heavy decisions like this should not be made in the middle of an episode. I would give this more time and see if you feel the same maybe a month or 6 weeks from now. If it ends up the same you can confidently tell your wife you've been working with the decision for a while and didn't decide it just because you were in crisis.
