I have a stuffed animal that I sleep with and I sometimes watch cartoons from my childhood.

Oh, and for Christmas, I bought myself some gushers, fruit by the foot, dunkaroos, and other candy/food from the 90s.

I normally try to eat healthy, but it was Christmas, so...

I wasn't really particularly childish, even when a child, but I still have a love of the old Looney Toons, though I don't even think they play on TV anymore. I did watch a couple episodes on YouTube a while back. I was disappointed to learn that my alma mater no longer has an annual Bugs Bunny film festival. I guess the young college-age people wouldn't even know any of the episodes. Back when I was at university, many of us could practically remember the dialogue of every Bugs cartoon.

Every single time I go to a new place that sells candy, I look for the strawberry flavored Charleston Chew. I would love to get my hands on one. That was my absolute favorite candy as a child.

I can still transport myself back in time to when I was a young dancer. The young dancer in me will likely live on forever, to some degree.

@BirdDancer: And she was a beautiful dancer!

I lay down and get my dog to get up on my chest and play with her. I watch "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" every Christmas. My dog looks like Rudolph's sweet girlfriend Clarisse. Sometimes i call her Clarisse. I bought a hula-hoop to do my gymnastics tricks again but i can't do them and i can't even hula-hoop. But some kids played with it and they could hula-hoop quite well. When i got back from Vancouver 20 years ago and was so run-down all i could watch on TV was Tele-Tubbies. I still say their goodnight poem. I like to read children's books in French and i enjoy the stories so much it's absurd. @BirdDancer: Maybe this is an idea for brushing up on your French? Or even French young adult lit if you're more advanced?

You're sweet, @whatever !

I really like your suggestion about children's books in French. Do you have any you could recommend? I'd particularly be interested in ones that were originally written in French. That would we a great way for me to also learn a little bit about French (or French-speaking Canadian) children's experiences and maybe even a touch more about their cultures.

When I am walking through a town or city at night, I will play for a bit in any playground I happen by (swing for a while, go down the slide, climb...)--[I am 67yo]
I also sometimes climb trees (I used to do this when I owned a house and had a great silver maple in my yard that was a nice climb and let me view the neighborhood and listen to snippets of conversation as people walked by)---
I like to look through books with great pictures.

it is an official fact, the cat goes woof woof and the dog goes meow. that is seriously what I say and get people to believe (and get very irate if they think otherwise!)

I bounce on the bed

- I watch cartoons

- I add Y at the end of my words.. doggy, mummy, kitty, cakey, anything that goes well with a y

- I sing nursery rymes and have a new favorite one, sleeping bunnies (also love round and round the garden)

- I play peekaboo

I am a child at heart. no question
